Raft Sildeshow

Exit Interview

 1. Comment about your work ethic in this course.

My work ethic this year has been better than previous years. I enjoyed this course more and in general put more effort into my blog and the assignments

 2. Which assignments did you enjoy and why?

I enjoyed the Raft assignment as it was very interesting to try out a new game and write about it. It wasn't very difficult either which made it more fun in a sense where you could be more creative with building your raft.

 3. Which assignments did you struggle with and why?

The assignments I struggled with the most were the Sketchup as they took the longest to complete.

Raft Play 4

1. If I were to start over

From memory, first 10 steps:
1. Collect a lot of resources (barrels, wood, plastic and leaves)
2. Expand the raft by adding some foundations around so when the shark attacks it doesn't break your items
3. Build a water purifier and place it anywhere but the edge
4. Build a simple grill and place it beside the water purifier
5. Build a fishing rod and starting fishing
6. Cook the fish and eat it
7. Made a cup and make some freshwater using the purifier
8. Go to an island and use an anchor to dock and forage it
9. Build a crop plot and place your seed of choice to start a farm
10. Expand your raft and make a second floor and more stuff like research tables etc.

The best tool to make for survival is the metal hook. It is really fast and makes collecting resources and foraging double the speed of the plastic hook.

My Raft to date:

The best feature on my raft is my sail. Without it I wouldn't have been able to get half the stuff off islands.
